Bexhill Cricket Club is a thriving home for cricketers of all abilities. We offer our visitors and indeed prospective new members a warm and friendly welcome. Founded in the late 1800's, Bexhill is now a leading community cricket club which has been designated a focus club by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and to be a hub of the community network for cricket development, particularly for the benefit of children and young people.

Our sides accommodate cricketers young and old, from a thriving junior section, through ?leisure? cricketers to keen club cricketers playing league cricket at varying levels from the lower reaches of the East Sussex League to the heights of the ECB Sussex Premier Cricket League.

New members, playing or social, are more than welcome to swell the numbers at our home ground of Polegrove. We have a thriving junior cricket section overseen by a proactive committee in partnership with ECB qualified coaches. Opportunities exist for youngsters from ages 6 through to 16.

In recent years players such as England's Chris Jordan & Monty Panesar have graced the Polegrove whilst we have also been the cricketing home of Sussex player Ashar Zaidi, Australian prospect and Brisbane Heat Big Bash player Mark Steketee, Zimbabwe international Craig Ervine and Sydney Thunder player Andrew Harriott.

We are an England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Focus Club which has also achieved Clubmark accreditation. Incorporating five Saturday teams, a large junior section with teams ranging from Under 9's to Under 16's. The Club has achieved Clubmark status which means that it is a safe and suitable environment for youngsters and play and learn about sport.

Our 1st & 2nd XI sides play in the Sussex League whilst our 3rd, 4th and 5th XI teams play in the East Sussex League. Our junior cricketers compete in the local Eastern Area leagues and practice regularly through both the winter and summer months. Our junior teams also compete in the county wide Sussex Junior Cricket Festivals each year. Club results can be seen through Bexhill Play Cricket website.
