Saeed Ajmal is now famous the cricketing world over for tormenting batsmen (mainly English it must be said) with his off spinners including his famous "doosra". However if ever a young player wanted to look at the work needed to become and international player then this is a story to follow.

Saeed spent a few summers in the UK plying his trade in Sussex League cricket. He played for both Stirlands and Cuckfield and joins an illustrious list of International cricketers to have played on the Polegrove.Was it Bexhill's finest day, coming up against a player of his calibre? It must be said that it was a very cold Bexhill day and Saeed had more than a few layers on. Your scribe also suspects he had the last laugh in the return match. However this is a game that will always remember.
