Our Under 14's side were narrowly unable to defend the Sussex Junior Cricket Festival trophy they won last year after being beaten in the final by Horsham Trinity.
Horsham Trinity batted first and made a total of roughly 150 (the scorecard is presently unavailable to the webmaster) whilst in reply Bexhill mustered around 80. Coach Steve Phillimore awarded the Bexhill Man of the Match ball to Liam Bryant who had a fine week in the festival as well.
The team comprised of: Ben Phillimore, Byron Smith, Declan Lea-White, Will Harvey, Liam Bryant, Nathan Lopez, Will Edwards, Ethan Guest, Cameron Burgon, Alex White, Aaron Harvey and Andrew Lovitt-Danks.
All the boys can be proud of their efforts as this is the second year running they have made the final of this competition. The scorecards for the ween are available on the Bexhill Play Cricket Website.
